The Miracle League is a charitable organization that provides children who are living with various mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. The purpose of the Mile High Miracle League is construct and operate baseball facilities for physically or mentally challenged children. It is estimated that 5-7% of the population has a disability. The "League" has constructed the first adaptive field in Colorado, located in Denver at Kipling and Hampden, partnering with the Foothills Park & Recreation District. Donations will help to fund the League's operations including field improvements, maintenance, and financial assistance (registration fees) for participants in need. |
