Our mission is to foster a community spirit of shared responsibility for the stewardship and restoration of public lands along the Northern Colorado Front Range, and beyond. Our tag line is "Healing the Land. Building Community." We provide meaningful opportunities for people to connect with nature and give something tangible back to the places they love.

WRV organizes over 30 volunteer projects per year, involving 20 to 120 volunteers each. We've been active and growing since 1999, completing a diverse range of over 140 projects involving thousands of volunteers.

Since WRV is a lean organization with three full-time staff and over 1,600 volunteers, most of the value of any car donation will go directly to our projects. For example:

$250 - seed for an acre of land

$350 - ten tools

$500 - 3 meals per day for 100 volunteers

$1000 - trains 20 new crew leaders

$2000 - 1000 tree seedlings

$3000 - funds an entire restoration project
