Wildlife Refuge & Science Education Center

Bluff Lake Nature Center is a 123-acre wildlife refuge and science education center in east Denver. Bluff Lake partners with local school districts to provide science education programs that supplement district standards.

Nearly 7,000 children visit Bluff Lake Nature Center each year. Many of them have an experience in nature that they would not otherwise have.  The proceeds will help fund the continued restoration of our Nature Center.  Bluff Lake staff and voluteers remove invasive plants while planting native trees, grasses, and shrubs, making Bluff Lake more friendly to indigenous birds and mammals.
