Our Car Donation Program is a simple way to raise money for your organization. Supporters of your organization donate through us. We sell the vehicle, and donate the proceeds to you! It is that simple. We will also help you effectively communicate the donation opportunity to your audience, helping to raise even more money for your organization.
We make the process simple and easy for your donors, it costs them nothing and it costs you nothing! We take pride in getting maximum value for the donated vehicle bringing your charity more dollars and your Donor a higher tax deduction.
Communicating the Message
We are committed to helping you effectively communicate with potential donors about the opportunity we collectively provide. We are happy to provide assistance in the following areas:
- Program Descriptions – Learn great ways to explain the program to donors
- Logo Usage - Receive logos to be used for your communication materials
- Tools and Techniques - Learn how to create or even jazz up your marketing and communications materials for the Donation Program. If you don’t have resources in-house to design and print these materials, we can even help with that!
Web site: If you have a Web site, a prominent announcement of your participation in our Car Donation Program is available. Creating a page or listing a short description of the car donation opportunity is generally a one-time task, and at very little expense. We provide you the text and logos needed. You are also free to use photos and images from our Web site. In addition, you can provide a link to our web site, wwwgivemycartocharity.org , so that potential donors have the ability to get as much information as they need, and learn more about how easy it is to donate a vehicle. Flyers: We have sample flyers for ideas on how to effectively communicate your message with a flyer. Flyers are an effective means of communicating the car donation opportunity and benefit, and we want to help you utilize this communication method. We can create and print these, in large quantities, at a very nominal cost. These are 1/3 page flyers, and make an excellent insert into a standard mailing, event program, bulletin, or just for having available for handing out at events and fairs, or at your facility.
